As a growing artist, I am learning more about myself and what I truly care about and what I want to put out into the world with my photographs. So many things are going on not only just here in the states, but also elsewhere in every other country. Having a Middle Eastern background, I feel compelled to bring forth these issues that continue to arise to this day. The element of shock plays a huge role in my political work in which I stand by and purposely try to show through my photographs. Society today tends to turn their heads when they see bad happening, whether it's on the streets or on the news. I want people to look at my work, stare at my work, talk about my work, and remember my work because in order to make some sort of difference one must remember what you're showing them.
