Number 6 practice comic drawing with different pencil types no ink
First time ever drawing Walking Dead, did this in 7 hours. Trying to decrease the time it takes to draw two or more characters at a bigger format. Plus learn different techniques from different artists. This one was a lot of fun! I learned a lot of good drawing techniques and new tools to speed up the shading and color. I learned a great deal from this practice exercise. Still far away from professional work but inching my way closer every time I create one of these.

Number 2 practice comic drawing + inking
I have never created this kind of visual artwork before. Above is my second try at inking and drawing for visual comic book storytelling. This page is from one of the walking dead books, guess which one? I liked the style the artist used and figured I would try to copy it. I learned a lot from doing this page wow!
I will be starting to ink and draw my panels soon for my own graphic novel and wanted to practice first. Mine will be in color. Also discover my style if I can. So I will be copying from many art styles the next couple of months to get good at this. Wish me luck..8-)
I scanned the page in to see what it looked like. Didn't come out to bad. This would still need a lot of work through.
Close up of the drawing technique. When you do this you have to keep in your head what areas are going to be black and white. Good learning exercise!!!
