I was given the task to create a book stand made out of cardboard that would support a variety of books. This project was issued right when Amazon released their first Kindle E Reader and all I wanted to do was make a cardboard case for a Kindle because that seemed like the future of reading. Instead, a book stand for traditional books was made. I went through many designs until I finally came to one that allowed the user to use different books and also keep the holder compact and portable.
