Scratching the surface

During Cannes Lions 2014, Statoil sponsored the Roger Hatchual Academy, an academy for young creatives, as part of their "Heros of tomorrow" sponsorship program.
 
They wanted an ad to tell people about the sponsorship, wish the students good luck and at the same time show the similarities between the creative and energy industries and their company values.
 
We chose to solve the task as a scratchcard and make the physical action required part of the message.
