Game Modifications

A custom Sim I made for the first The Sims game over a decade ago.  It's rough in a lot of areas, as you can see, but a fair bit more complex than the Sims that came with it.  I made the head/hair and dress/body meshes and textures, mainly using MilkShape 3DS and Photoshop.
Another handful of head texture/3D mesh combinations I made for The Sims many years ago.
An animation I made from a Sim I made for the first The Sims game.  I painted the face and hair but did not alter the mesh.  I then took a screen capture and used various image editing programs to add frames and make a .gif animation out of it.
An animation I made in roughly 2004 using the method mentioned above, only with a Sims 2 character I had made.  While customizing a Sim for The Sims original game meant painting the entire head at once, The Sims 2 allowed for components such as head, hair, eyes, eyebrows, cosmetics, clothing and so forth to be separate.  In this case, I had customized the hair, skin, eyebrows, eyes, cheek and lip colors.
A series of swatches for some custom eyeballs I made for The Sims 2.
Before and after of a Sims 2 character.  The original is on the left using the original content.  On the right, I used my own skin, eyes, and cheek color.  These were made in about 2004.
As a point of reference, here are a couple of examples of what The Sims normally look like:

The left image is an example of a character in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.  To the right is the custom mesh and texture I created and replaced it with.  I did the head and face only and left the clothing, hair and body alone.  This was created in about 2004.  I also learned some light scripting which I used to mod the game.
To the left is a character from WarCraft III.  To the right is the remade version.  I did quite a lot of texture editing, but I did not alter the mesh.  This is very old.
