Just some modeling of idea of turntable driven by battery motor.

Turntable has 3 parts heavy enough to stand still on every surface (ok, not sand or likely).

First one is platter, second one is motor with battery inside. Speed is adjustable with a ring, and it has analog power meter for battery power control. If power goes under 2,5 V, it should be recharged. Still working on recharger, and those 2,5 volts are fiction. I really don’t know how much Volts motor must have to work :)

Third part is tonearm with lift, weight and anti-skating. 

 

So, this should result in low noise in sound because motor and platter are connected with 3 rubber rings only, just like arm with pickup is independent of plate and motor too.

 

But as result of having enough time and will to play with, I do some modifications to first idea...
