This sculpture is meant to simulate gravity using spandex mesh operated by a user pulling on a series of string.  The dips created in the fabric mimic masses in space, drawing objects inwards as they follow the natural curvature of space-time.  Round objects like marbles can be placed into orbit, converge to a center, or dance around the surface as masses in the gridded space seemingly appear and disappear, constantly changing the marbles' paths in space.
