The Power Lies In You (2014)

The Power Lies In You is an installation that represents how art can create change and awareness to social and environmental issues in our society. The structure itself is visually minimalistic through its use of monochromatic color and simplistic design. The complexity of the piece is revealed when the viewer discovers the relationship of the recyclable household items within the reduce, reuse, recycle symbol and the recyclable electronics within the power symbol. The power symbol itself represents the power each individual has in minimizing waste and protecting our natural resources. We have the power to save the world we live in.

This conference allows participants to learn, engage, and immerse in the various programs being offered. Together we can work to create a positive impact on our environment, and become more knowledgeable in our future decisions. Now is the time to learn, change, and experience the power each one of us has in saving the world around us. interactive app
Deception (2015)

Deception is a conceptual typeface that showcases the reality that pills are a temporary fix, not a permanent solution. They mask the root of the problem, and are an illusion of how one is doing. The alphabet consists of solid, smashed, and powdered forms to display the various stages of deception. The solid pills represent the mask, how one appears to be, put together while the crushed pills represent the breakdown, and the powdered pills signify complete destruction. The place where one sees themselves for who they really are. At this purest and lowest state, there's a sense of hope and light among the tears and feelings of brokenness. Therefore, purely white powder. This facade of how one needs to appear has been thrusted upon us by society just as the color coating was forced upon the pills.
