I created and crafted a book design for David Sedaris' short story "The Cow & the Turkey." True to Sedaris' dark stories, the short tells the tale of a selfish cow who "chose" the turkey for Secret Santa knowing the turkey would be Christmas Eve dinner. Unbeknownst to the cow, the turkey is her Secret Santa. Taking the gift idea, I wanted to create a book wrapped with a bow.
