Knitwear and Crochet

Knitwear: Cut and Sew- Sportswear.
This hooded pullover was inspired by Koi fish. The pattern- making and garment construction were done by me. The challenge here was to keep the pullover sport, while still managing to add a surprise element of color.

Knitwear: Cut and Sew- Street style. This ensemble was inspired by dragonflies and the project was based on Japanese street style. It involved pattern- making, garment construction and styling.

Knitwear: Hand Flat Knitting.
This project, inspired by the colorful Agama lizard, was made along with a classfellow. I developed the Dog sweater, which has been made on a 2.5 gauge V- bed hand flat knitting machine. It included knitting, construction and styling.

This garment, inspired by amethyst, was developed for my internship at Oswal Woollen Mills, Ludhiana (Punjab)- India. It consists of panels made on a 14 gauge V- bed hand flat knitting machine, which have been cut and sewn using overlock, SNLS and flatlock machines. The project included, knitting, pattern making, construction, styling and photography.

Umbrella developed for kids, using hand crocheted motifs.
This was made for a collaboration Project between NIFT and the Government of India, wherein students had to visit and document a craft cluster and develop a collection of  products with the craftspersons.
