Our main character Rob, walks into a pub called ‘Limbo’ and asks for the usual. The barman explains he is new and doesn’t know his usual order so Rob just asks for a pint of anything. As time passes, the drinks keeps flowing the glasses keep adding up. The flow of time returns back to normal with Rob quite drunk at this point. He then discusses with the barman about his fear of death and wishes he could be immortal. The barman pours Rob a shot and claims that its a new drink their testing and will make him immortal all he has to do is sign his consent. As the barman passes him the list we see what he looks like and Rob notices his name-badge entitled ‘Lucifer’. Rob makes a joke about him being the devil and signing his soul-away obviously not taking it seriously. As he downs the shot, Lucifer chuckles and a white light engulfs the pub, Lucifer then asks Rob how it feels to be immortal, unveiling that he has turned into a Robot. He freaks out and panics shouting “This isn’t what i expected!”, Lucifer then explains jokingly that he will never die as long as he keeps his batteries charged. Rob then attempts to leave but he is unable to move. Amidst his confusion text goes across his robotic-body stating he has updates pending. Fed up and unwilling to resist he sighs and asks for another pint.

 

Rob/Rob-otto - A moody scruffy underachiever who likes to drink away his problems and discuss them with whoever is available to listen.
Barman/Lucifer - A mysterious yet mischievous fellow who even though is supposed to be a new starter at the pub ‘Limbo’ he comes across as a very suspicious character.

 

 

Rob sits down on a barstool

 

Rob: *big sigh* the usual please mate!

 

Barman: Ahh.. sorry I’m kinda new here.. what’s the…

 

Rob: *interrupts* Never mind… *sigh* il just have a pint of anything.

 

Barman: Sure *starts pouring*… errm sounds like you’ve had a rough day?

 

Rob: Yea.. everyday is a rough day haha just keep them drinks coming

 

 

Rob: God! i wish this would just work its magic already!!

 

 

Rob: Ya see… coz this one has got vodka AND orange in it… its like… like cancelling each other out.

Ya know.. zeroing!! yeah… sweet, delicious zeroing…

 

 

Rob: Hey… *hiccup* whats your name?

 

Barman: haha its Lucifer…

 

Rob: Woah… ok.. haha this is gonna sound weird but do u ever get scared that you could die at any moment? Poof!! and thats it?

 

Lucifer: Yea i guess..

 

Rob: *interrupts* what a load of crap!! 

 

 

Rob: Hmmm id give anything to be immortal… even give up drinking….

 

Lucifer: Really??

 

Rob: Nah.. hahaha *downs pint and belches*

 

Lucifer: Well hey.. do u wanna try this new shot i invented? 

 

Rob: hmm maybe…

 

Lucifer: C’mon!! it might make u feel immortal?? *glares*

 

 

Rob: Whats this?

 

Lucifer: Its just so we know how many people have tried it and given their consent. Just sign it and you’ll feel a lot better *mischievous look*

 

Rob: Alright.. alright.. *struggles to sign* there we go! *puts the pen down and grabs the shot* Sooo.. almighty lucifer?! I give you my soul and you give me a shot?! hahaha sounds about right… Meh, oh well…Down the hatch!! *gulps*

 

Lucifer: *chuckles*

 

 

Lucifer: Not joking now huh?? So… how does it feel.. to be immortal?

 

 

Rob: What is this?!! *robotic voice* Huh??

 

 

Rob-otto: What was in that shot man? I felt like a disco-ball for a second!

 

 

Rob-otto: Oh.. my… freaking… *pauses* Holy Ham Sandwich!! I’m a… a.. robot??

 

Lucifer: Surprised? You wanted to be immortal?

 

Rob-otto: Yea true but.. C’mon a robot? i mean… its just not practical… *as he looks around at his new features* i mean… what do i?… how do i?.. ya know master…

 

Lucifer: You’ll be fine. You’ll live forever as long as you keep your batteries charged *chuckles*

 

Rob-otto: HAHA very funny… whatever man I’m outta here…

 

 

Rob-otto: What in the hell?!…

 

 

Rob-otto: Well thats just great… *sighs and looks at empty glass* hmm nothing else to do i guess.. Top us up would ya?
