Mourne Textiles is a family run hand-weaving studio, established by the master textile designer Gerd Hay-Edie in 1947.

The workshop stands overlooking Carlingford Lough at the foothills of the Mourne mountains, Northern Ireland. The rich colours and textures in the landscape have been a source of inspiration for Mourne fabrics for over sixty years. Gerd Hay-Edie has produced textiles for Robin Day over ten years. Among her clients were Liberty and Terence Conran.

Atelier Dyakova was commissioned to re-fresh the brand, its graphics and packaging. Inspired by the rich history of the workshop and its heritage we have created brand elements that reflect the modern spirit — looking ahead, whilst firmly in touch with its past.
