All three of my cover designs are shaped to represent a tree. Trees typically symbolise growth and ambition – something I felt relevant, especially the growth of knowledge you will acquire as you move up through the years of key stage 3. I also felt a tree was a common matter that appeared across all 3 subject areas.
The circuit board represents electricity and physics relating to energy etc. whilst the tree symbolises the Isaac Newton apple falling from a tree theory.
The molecules represent a unit of a chemical compound that can take part within chemical reactions. Shaping these into a tree represents chemicals that trees release and chemical reactions in the environment.
The veins represent the biology within the body, forming a tree shape represent biology and life in the environment and outside of the body.
