This poster was made to introduce a new subject section (Ecology and Evolution) in GATE 2014 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). It is designed to provide all the information needed for the new subject and was rolled out with minor modifications for the next year too.

The design brief was to come up with a poster to introduce a new examination paper "Ecology and Evolution" for GATE 2014.
The details for the exam was provided and the main challenge was to fit in this much text and to still make the poster noticeable and fresh. The tag added on the top right corner brings to notice the start of a "new" subject.

In order to break the monotony of too much text, the content was split into four based on relevance and pictures of wildlife native to India were inserted keeping in mind the theme of the poster.
