A simple tomato is rendered through Adobe Illustrator into a gradient layered and shaded object. A tangential homage to Olympic gold-medalist snowboarder Shaun White, the tomato image is used to create a playful and colorful design. The concept plays off of White’s longstanding nickname, without being overly definitive about it. The color pallet is a triadic set of orange, green and blue with the word “GRAVY” centered in green on the bottom portion in the font “Paranoid”. This further seeks to broaden the lightheartedness of the design concept by playing off the age-old debate over the proper term for tomato sauce.
