日本當代聲音藝術家─池田亮司的作品被視為科學與藝術的混合體，結合了極簡的節拍及工業噪音或白色噪音。九零年代投入電子音樂和媒體藝術，作品的原理在於將聲音和電腦資訊交互轉換。2014池田亮司運用實踐大學的圖書館建築結合噪音進行表演。主視覺運用實踐大學圖書館建築與音樂合成器結合池田亮司作品裡常出現的幾何黑白視覺風格作為呈現。
The works of contemporary Japanese sound artist Ryoji Ikeda have always been perceived as a mixture of science and art. His work combines very simple beats with industrial or white noise. In the 90s, Ikeda was involved with electronic music and media art. The principle behind his work is the interactive transformation between sound and computer information. In 2014 Ryoji Ikeda conducted a performance using the Shih Chien University library and different sounds. The visual appearance of the Shih Chien University library was integrated with music synthesizers to render the geometric black and white visual style often seen in Ryoji Ikeda’s work.
