The New Zealand International Film Festival has an all-consuming hold over New Zealanders’ lives for a few weeks every year.
I have held the role of creating its annual identity for four years running. Each year I collaborated with our client on creating a new story, narrative or theme for the festival, which I then brought to life through poster artwork and advertising. I directed illustrators, oversaw animators, created a variety of print, online and on-street media and helped to build this engaging yearly event.
2014 was the second-best year in ticket sales in the 25-year history of the New Zealand International Film Festival.
