The Venue logo in my stationery package won a Silver Addy Award from the Fargo Moorhead Advertising Federation in 2007.

One of my first in-class projects was to design a logo for a local business. At the time, one of my favorite things to do was going to live concerts. Thus, the idea of recreating The Venue's logo came about. I wanted to create a logo that captured movement and excitement; to accomplish this I enveloped the edges of my logo in a circle and added randomized bubbles. Sometimes when I visit The Venue and see their current logo, I have to stop for a moment and remember that mine isn't the official one.
