Mojave Museum of Infinity

Working with student curators, we conceptualized and visualized an "imaginary museum." I worked with my curators to create the Mojave Museum of Infinity, a museum that gives its visitors a humbling sense of the vastness of the universe through its immesrive, sensory exhibitions. It features artworks and experiences that deal with metaphysical questions.
Located a bullet-train ride away from the symbolic center of materialism (Las Vegas), the Mojave Museum of Infinity transports visitors into a meditative space. Featuring permanent installations of mirror rooms by Serge Salat and Yayoi Kusama, multiple infinite illusion exhibit rooms, day tours of the desert, night tours of the spectacular Mojave night sky, and an underwater infinity room, the MMI challenges perspectives and instills a sense of wonder.
During our Imaginary Museum show, the Mojave Museum of Infinity took over its wall space with a display of stars, exhibited an infinity illusion mirror, and featured an infinity scarf in the imaginary museum store.
