For this assignment we were to insert our image into a picture that was either impossible (or highly unlikely) we could have been there. Because I do not like to use pictures of myself I inserted a parrot into the photo instead. Since we all know that parrots like to listen and then repeat what they hear maybe this one is in training to become a media commentator.
We were to use our creativity and Photoshop skills to see what type of face we could create using a variety of fruits and vegetables. This is a revision of my original image which now includes more broccoli hair, eyebrows changed into upper and lower eyelashes, a lettuce collar, and an abstract background.
The challenge with this assignment was to select a base image to which something was added that did not exist at the time. Look closely and see if you can find the four modern day devices I added to this civil rights march photo.
This is my attempt at making a meme. Since I work for a college I thought it might be comical for students to ask about how their technology fees were being used since the computers are not exactly the latest.
Light painting is a fun project. This image is a composite of two different photographs. My first photo was taken in total darkness where I wrote the word "Bears" using a small flashlight. The challenge for me was not writing backward but keeping the writing within the view range of the camera. The second image uses behind camera lighting, again in a dark room, to highlight our teddy bear collection. I then put the two images together in Photoshop.
Playing photograph tennis was entirely new to me but was an interesting exercise. I found out I had to move quickly to download the previous image additions, find my image for a modification, make the change and get it reposted before someone else grabbed it.

My change to this image was the addition of the magician's hat.
