The matter concerns surroundings close to my heart - surroundings of scapes and intimate spaces that form part of my place identity. The abstracted landscapes also derive from memories and pasts consciously and selectively exposed, as to what my memory wants to visually display and to a certain extent remember.
Two printmaking techniques, Collagraphy and Monotype, were combined in an experimental manner, to deliver a bundle of rich memories full of texture and layering. There is also the exploration of these memories amalgamating with the exhbiting space.
