Project 7: Mozart Festival Poster

I used photoshop to create this poster design. I used the raster image of a cello that I found on the internet as well as a flaming music note as the two focal points for the poster. I used "soothing" and "flowing" text fonts to match the type of music that would be played at the event. I used bevel and emboss features on most of my text so that it would stand out against the black background. I wanted to include John Carroll University in the poster so it would appeal to multiple generations and gather a large audience for the performance. The solid black background against with light yellow lettering makes it easy to see from a distance. The last step I took was to add the location, date, and time of the event to the bottom of the poster. For this text I used a slight outer glow and bevel and emboss.
