The brief for this project requested the editorial layout and design aesthetic of a travel magazine inspired by the Victorian era. 

 

‘Embark’ communicates a similar tone of voice in the design aesthetic employed during the Victorian era while taking modern influence with the editorial layout with the intent of achieving a more appropriate and enjoyable level of readability, otherwise threatened by the overly cluttered and elaborate embellishment native to the Victorian era.
