"Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well being of his family" - Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Horticulture as a means of therapeutic care.

Identified that there was a need for a centre within Lincoln that could provide 'Emotional & Mental Support' and which would aim to help people who had been made homeless to, 'Build a New Life In Society'.

AIM: To develop an Urban Farm within the city of Lincoln which gives homeless people a place to stay temporarily whilst they tackle their problems.

The physical act of working the land is intended to provide a level of theraputic care, giving residents at the farm the confidence to talk and work with others and focus on something other than the problems which shroud their daily lives.
