"HOME" is a series of works that invites viewers to question their own relationship with their places of residency. With Baltimore in question, "HOME" addresses themes of ownership and pride for one's city. The series includes a poster, mockups of possible public installation sites for said poster, as well as the graphics for physical buttons made for easy distribution. The imagery and taglines, some specific to Baltimore and some not, evoke memories of the recent 2015 Baltimore Riots, but also draws lines to other systematic injustices. Among these possible connections are the JHU imminent domain issue in East Baltimore where family homes are physically being taken. "HOME" challenges everyone: locals, transplants, and students alike to claim ownership of their home as a way of protecting and revitalizing the city.
