1. Diagram of the Classroom: When I joined this course I was not so sure about myself and how much technology I would be able to use during this course. This item was my first assignment and right after the completion of this part of the course I started feeling confident about getting into this course. I choose this item to be part of my portfolio because this reminds me of the beginning and how I felt at the beginning of my course. It is also important as it can be a guideline for my future classrooms when planning for the integration of technology in classroom routines and curriculum.
2. Power Point Presentation: I was always impressed by the power point presentations but I never attempted to make any power point presentation of my own. Therefore this assignment was a milestone for me. On the other hand this assignment made me aware of the issues involved in using technology and especially online resources. This is lesson that would come in handy for me in any junior grade.
3. Computer Safety Guidelines: I think that this item is a very valuable resource for me because online safety and computer usage safety both are important. I can use this resource in any of my future classes and also during my supply teaching assignments in the computer labs.
4. Online Newsletter and Calendar: These two items show how technology can be used in any aspect of school life these days. Communication with the parents is a very important part of the learning process. These are two very important tools which have been utilized for years. These two assignments made me realize how I can modernize these too communication tools and make them more accessible, interactive and visually appealing.
5. Online Scavenger Hunt: This item in my portfolio is important for me as it showed me how important it is for us to train ourselves in using technology. Before the tutorials and this assignment I had no idea that how much technology is on our finger tips but we refrain from using it because we are not trained for it.

Web quest: I created this web quest for this course as an assignment but during the creation of this web quest I had discovered a wealth of other online resources which are going to be beneficial in my future classes. This assignment has given me a new dimension for the culminating activities for any topic in the classroom. While working on this web quest it became clear to me how technology can be used to help and enhance the learning process for students and teachers.
7. My Own Website: For this course we were asked to construct our own website. I was not sure about this assignment in the beginning but after going through the hard labour of creating a website for the first time, I was really pleased with the end product. Even though I still consider this a work in progress, I fully intend to keep the site up for my future classes. Through this rigorous exercise I learnt a lot about different software and how to use them to my advantage.
