Choose something that you can easily buy in mass quantities: popcorn, rubber bands, goldfish, gummy worms, little crafty puffballs at Michaels, etc. Or something in your basement that you've outgrown (legos; lightbrite thingies, or other toy parts). Cover an object or many objects using whatever glue makes sense (if the surfaces are porous, Elmers; if not, hot glue). Cover a part of some environment with the same or a different little thing. Photograph from many angles. Experiment with lighting. Try to make it tell a story.
