Our task was to produce an illustration of various plants using hand drawn sketches manipulated in photoshop. The specific technique used for the colouring was to first create strokes and washes with brushes and ink on paper then scan them. These images were then inverted, copied and pasted into layer masks covering a layer of solid colour.
