Personal project, inspired by a series of illustrations I've done for American Express.
I'm continuing the color themed cities, after the Green, Gold and Platinum Cities, this is the Red City, located of course inside of a vulcano.

To achive the textures, I've used a separation of smoke that I created separately. The fire had some additional separations, too. All was compiled digitally for the finish, but almost all elements are hand-drawn.
