The Snow White Series. In 2012, I was one of the artists in the Poisoned Apples Show in Detroit, Michigan. The show featured work about Snow White in a variety of media. The first painting shows the moment leading to Snow White being poisoned by the apple. The image below depicts her relationship with her step mother. The queen has transformed into a python and grips Snow White, the apple is shown as a foreshadowing of the poisoning. The magic mirror reflects a skull.
