The layering of skins and hardness of shells of various animals inspire Doublet's debut collection, 'Urban Skin'. These natural characteristics of animals are similar to armor.
In this collection, you can identify the use of structured drapes on sleeves and pants, and also, stitching details on shoulder pads and garments that are all inspired from animals.
The silhouettes used are straight yet with slight taper at waist to provide feminine essence. A range of assortments from dress to separates such as skirts, pants and even leggings.
The main feature for this Fall/Winter 2012/13 season collection is the stitching details extensively used throughout each piece together with batting.
The color palettes used are light grey, cream, dusty pink, khaki and brown.
