Readaptation of “Snow-White and Rose-Red” by the Brothers Grimm
In the original fairy tale, the titular characters Snow-White and Rose-Red were regularly intimidated by a dwarf.
I decided to reverse the roles by giving the female protagonists a dog, an appropriate posture and other attributes allowing them to defend themselves. The illustrated graphic pattern was created with the use of programming (Processing software).
For the design of the title page, I used the programming (Processing software). Thanks to this, the component parts of the main illustrative motif created a different form every time. This way, even though the pattern was used many times, the effect of monotony was successfully avoided.
