This project was created as design test for Grindr, redesigning the mobile profile page, and adding a new feature.  This project was completed in two days.

 

Problem:  To refresh the user profile view, making it more engaging and exciting, and easier for users to access pertinent information.

 

Solution:  I created several different layouts for the profile screen, putting a specific focus on picture browsing, and selected image prominence.  I also created a new feature I call Spark.  Taken from a game my brother plays with his dates. The user selects a sentiment, either a song, image, quote, or video,  and the person browsing the profile has to select a response in the same sentiment categorty.  It allows users to get a feel for creative or emotional compatability in an easy way.  Chat availability can be tied to Spark responsiveness.
