The label RVCA, which I chose for a lookbook design, is based on a unique concept. It marks the interface between different subcultures like surf, skate, music, graffiti and fashion. The label frequently features collaborations between athletes and artists and creates an ideal platform for interactive projects. RVCA understands how to combine bold and innovative design with authentic casual wear.
The lookbook presents the spring/summer collection 2011 for women and men. I worked with a combination of drawing, watercolor and collage. The partially sketchy look of the illustrations highlights the characteristic understatement of RVCA.
