The expression formed from the way I peeled it.

I like High Contrast Pen Drawings
The line quality is expressive

#Illustration

In the above Image I tried to create a sense of movement with the pen, creating a focal point  with colour and shape.
The different angles also highlight  how you can view aspects of it differently.

The pen illustration in circular sequence

This Image was produced by scanning and then imported to photoshop where I changed the backgroundcolour and changed the contrast a bit.
I wanted to explore scanning and possibilities for documentation.
The result is ok, I am Happy enough, I like the clarity and contrast

#onePerDay
This leaf was also scanned
It reminds me of old documentation depicted in early biology books. I like the background colour and desaturation to B&W gives it a pleasing aesthetic
Although the shape is a little skewed still is pleasing.

Trees
With Time trees shed their bark revealing new stem eventually when the tree grows it becomes stronger shown by its texture.
The changes in texture prompted me to take these images, I could crop it a little bit ,
I replaced the images, the image looked elongated.
I replaced the image again, didn't like how it looked in viewer and changed back to original.

Photojournalism/Storytelling/Commentary
#onePerDay
I thought this was a typical scene  in inner city Brisbane
traffic represents imagined lines forward and left
#OnePerDay
The mass of trolleys makes a good photo representing lack of usage,
This could be used for several depictions
#onePerDay
Documentation
This image  reminds me of a metaphor.
This photo was taken with my I phone 4 while walking near the area where I live, I noticed a group of ants dragging this wasp.

Persuation/IDENTITY
#OnePerDay
I was eating this lollipop and then decided I wanted to take gradual photos of it disappearing, as I was chomping into it, I noticed the similarity of decay.
It made me not want to eat another lollipop again.
The gradual image size reduction representing teeth.
I can also see a bear in there.
I used a dslr and photoshop
One handed autofocus in ambient daylight

Light Tunnel
Lighting from behind material lighting effect creating texture and depth. Creating a light tunnel using a wide angle lense and lighting from behind.

#onePerDay
Looks like a woman wearing robe in tunnel, Experimenting with Light, Texture and Focus, no sfx just single photo.
#onePerDay
Exploring focus as an element of design  with the textured material and lighting as the above image

Imprint on stickytape
I wanted to capture the essence of the leaf,
I can see this being used for persuasive message.

A very quick illustration,
I subconciously drew something very quickly testing subconcious and concious drawing skills

Portrait of home
I reinterpreted the concept of portraiture and home by taking still snippets of things that might give us the impression of home.  These are some aspects that might mean home to me maybe you can relate.

This is a very inviting image, the sun behind gives the impression of calmness and is welcoming  inviting you to look beyond the image.
The size might be too large to view, maybe a smaller picture might  be better.
Technically I used natural light flowing from behind the window and other ambient light

A home can be a reflection of outside influences.

I used a dslr with wide macro lense
A casual Portrait taken with I phone 4, exploring light, ambiance, image and angular perception
Patterns and Texture
#onePerDay
Mushroom pattern produced from mushroom imprint which was scanned and  imported in  photoshop. I Like the contrasting colours and the tilted mushrooms, specifically positioned to
break the static pattern. A pattern remains a pattern no matter how you change it.
A pattern that creates action and positive change is best.
This can be taken further :

#onePerDay
I like the contrast of the colours created by using the layer attribute difference.
With this section of patterns I wanted to explore colour and perception.
#onePerDay

I like the movement this contrast produces, exploring visual perception.
#onePerDay
I explored adding a focal point in the pattern to see if it breaks the pattern and it seems like it does, in the highlighted area.

#onePerDay
I really like the spatial elements in this image
and contrasting colours I like the rough edges, it is only a work in progress image
because as you look closely you can see the separating shapes
#onePerDay

#onePerDay
With this Image I explored how colour and size can change the shape and meaning.
The shape changed to an oriental pattern flower with the colour contrast emphasizing its aesthetic quality.
I like this pattern, it was produced with photoshop from my mushroom imprint shape.

Texture created  by light behind material, nice tonal contrast.
#onePerDay

Plaster texture was edited in photoshop to highlight rough lines using the levels and contrast  image editing attributes in photoshop.

Abstraction/Macro/Micro Photography
#onePerDay
Macro photography.
Monkeys around the globe.
Some of us may associate monkeys with fun and uninhibited actions.
I thought I could capture that with this composition.
I used a macro lense with natural light.

#one/PerDay
Monkeys Escaping.
With this Image I wanted to test lighting and composition because lighting conditions were hard to control.
I tried to control the light  as much as I could, to create an evening/late night mood.

#Macro Photography
This Image Evokes fun, almost hide and seek.

Onion Hill
Macro Photography, exploring shape and pattern.

#onePerDay
Abstract Hill
Desaturated colour, macro photography.
While photographing, the emphesis was on the textural quality and pattern of the object being photographed.

#onePerDay
I tried to experiment with water and oil in a bowl,
I also added colouring, almost looks like bubbles,
I used daylight and macro lense.
Shapes differ depending on the amount of oil to water ratio, and the speed the water is stirred.
