In light of Singapore's 50th birthday, I have recreated aspects most familiar to Singaporeans. This project is dedicated to the SG50 tagline given to this year's celebration. I have chosen the topic 'Food' for the simple fact that it represented Singapore best.

The icons were drawn in their simplest forms, with details that would allow all locals to easily identify. Dishes such as the famous Nasi Lemak(Coconut Rice) and Satay (Skewered Meat) were chosen and in each icon lay distinctive aspects of the food that any local would be familiar with. The icons are printed on different media, allowing for it to be worn, on a t-shirt or a bag. Wrapping paper was another form experimented with to give locals a chance to see their food being presented in a different manner, albeit a more lighthearted one.
