Twisted Pixies natural handmade soaps of Denver, Colorado, was in need of a sprite-ly, fantastical logo that embraced the whimsical, woodland spirit of the company’s name.  We looked at packaging on sumptuous European bath bars for inspiration, as well as classic European fairytales like the infamous Grimms, and books of forest flora and fauna.

 

Our logo design is hand-drawn, with a gnarled tree and spreading branches serving as the ‘T,’ like the first letter in a new chapter of old forest fairytales.  The texture of our custom lettering also makes a nod to engravings of old, and the accent font references twigs and sticks. A circlet of gold leaves and vines surrounds the logo, providing an ornate framing made from woodland findings.  Calling to mind classic French toile landscapes, the Wedgwood blue forest background of twisted trees on our labels is also hand-drawn.

These designs are currently appearing on the labels of six deliciously refreshing varieties of soap bars and bath bombs, like juniper with lemon zest and coriander.
