RayCare is a revolutionary Oncology Information System (OIS). It is a tablet-first single page application (SPA) that handles the workflow of cancer treatment from the moment a patient walks into the hospital until the cancer is treated and even a follow up. All CT machines and LINACs are orchestrated with a highly customizable workflow engine.
I am part of the core team that created the first mockups in a close cooperation with the product manager and later implemented the functionality of the application.
I used Bootstrap 3.3 as a base for responsive design. The booking page is one of the most sofisticated ones. We created an advanced calendar directive using AngularJS with various filtering and interaction mechanisms.
We had to rethink the design from the ground up. Here is a timeline view that aggregates all the steps that the pateint went through and are planned for the future.
I worked closely with our 3D experts to create the most advanced DICOM viewer a browser can handle. We used WebGL, KnockoutJS and the latest technologies like Web Components and ArrayBuffers to create it. Here is 3 screenshots from some of the views of the 2D, 3D and Volume Rendering views.
