Target: to design superior flat with the area of 120 sq. meters in a luxury district of
Saint-Petersburg for a family of four with two children.

Concept: choosing a mixture of ar-deco and minimalizm as a style of the project, I wanted to find a solution to satisfy both the average high-income client’s taste in Russia and architectural inner beauty of the housing estates, they are likely to choose. As it is prevalent for the interior to be influencedby exterior, I tried to keep the same structure and aesthetic features of building inside by adding lots of vertical rhythms. By adding huge forms, like a partition, embedded with fireplace I wanted to add more architectural appearence to this flat, rather than simply decorating it.
