Bazooka Baseball
Intro

This was a such a fun project from start to finish! The problem was to redesign an existing product and make it our own product/improve the overall design. As a baseball card collector, I took it one step further and created a line of product I would love to see Topps release: Bazooka Baseball.

(The next three images, I do NOT own, and were used strictly for inspiration into the final piece.)
Die-Cut Design

I unfolded a Topps blaster box pack to use as my die-cut template. After I made the blank die cut, I started pulling from my inspiration above and imagination, to design the box for Bazooka Baseball.
Final Composition

I completed a 3D rendering for the project, but it didn't do the design justice. So I took my camera with a macro lens into my backyard and captured green grass, sand tans, blue skies, and a cage fence as you would see at a local baseball diamond. I took the photo into Photoshop and added a bit of contrast and color correction to achieve the retro feel.
It was a real homerun of a project!
