In high school art class, I was asked to do a sketch of anything I wished, to show the art teacher my skill set and range of artistic ability. I ended up taking the entire period and working on an elaborate and detailed sketch of a zombie. I have decided to include a mere sketch in my portfolio because of the great detail I think it employs. I take a special interest in detail of a work, thus sketches of decaying flesh or scars, or of anything quite detailed, become my favorite type of work.
