A piece of household furniture – “Pinfeng” (in Chinese) or The Wooden Partition, is used as a visual partition of spaces. However one can easily hear the sounds bouncing across it - what if the partition was between distant places? how would hearing those sounds be like? what would we hear? "Pingfeng" or wooden Partition, is lined with a conductive material.

One can use a special magnetic paper cup to listen to streams of sounds from each section of the structure, giving an impression that the source is just on the other side.
