Monoprinting is a printmaking technique which produces artworks which are one of a kind and cannot be replicated. The idea behind carrying out this technique was to come up with a painting that was independent of any intentional lines.

This process includes layers and layers of trial and error until it reaches a stage where it tells a story on its own. Each piece is absolutely independent and original. Together all the elements of layering, texturing, peeling, and many more experimental methods, gives the image its own identity which can be read in several ways.
