Bolzano is the capital city of the province of South Tyrol in Northern Italy.
I had travelled many different cities in Italy but I found this city was my favourite because of the beautiful scenery and the stunning sites. If you are ever considering visiting Bolzano, I found the cable car lift the most thrilling experience.
The cable car takes you up to the top of the mountains and the views are simply breathtaking. Once you get to the top, there are large Austrian wooden houses situated around the mountains and to get around quickly, there is a mini tram that takes you to different stations on the mountain. When I was there, It was almost like being in a different world, as though it was like being in The Hobbit film; being surrounded by hills and moving through the clouds!
Overall, a great experience and one I would highly recommend!
