The theme for the movie Fallout would be a post-Nuclear war world.  The poster tries to convey the mood of emptiness and desertion of a major city.  The Block Stencil Text was chosen in order to give the sense of the Nuclear nature of the plot. This font is generally used on the warning labels for most nuclear waste and nuclear shelters.  The view of the poster is meant to symbolize someone who is enough of a distence away from the blast to see it, but not far enough away to escape it.  This is meant to create a sense of helplessness and intrigue to what comes next, this is why I used all of the darker colors that were highlighted by the bright shades of red and orange.  I used a feather around the city scape in an attempt to  show the distruction of the buildings from the person's point of view.  This partnereed with the visible shock wave from the blast creates a unique effect of distruction and power that the blast can disintigate a building.
