Mad Mama Bandage Co. Packaging Design

Packaging Design
Mad Mama Bandage Co.

The Brief:
Design and create packaging for a company featuring three varieties of their products (ie small, medium, large.)

Insight:
Bandages, though bought and utilized predominantly by moms, are rarely used on them- rather they buy bandages for everyone else in the household. Certain moms (*ahem, Mad Mamas) end up purchasing and utilizing a large amount of bandages because of that one child in their family who can't stop getting hurt (either intentionally or accidentally.) Mad Mamas are the type who have children making their own bike jumps at home, and jumping off the roof for fun.

Concept:
Mad Mama Bandage Co. was created to add a little humor and empathy to the lives of moms who are always bandaging their daredevil kids. The variety packs are organized into small, medium, and large, depending on the height of the homemade bike jump they tend to make (the more bricks under the jump, the bigger the fall, and larger the bandage) each pack comes with a variety of shapes, because no cut is the same. As explained on the packs, small is typically for little daredevils, or the "Single-Brick" under the homemade bike jump, medium is for the "Two-Brick Type", and large is for the "Death Defying, Three-Brick Type."
