The Disruptive Media Learning Lab, DMLL hosted a two-day event celebrating innovative, experimental and connected ways of teaching and learning in higher education and beyond.
The Expo took place on the 11th and 12th March 2015 in Coventry, showcasing numerous projects they have been working on since the opening in a vibrant space on the third floor of Lanchester Library.
I was commissioned to design the event's programme. It was printed on a double side A3, folding down to A5, including detailed information about talks, workshops and a separate section for all-day installations.
The attendees were able to find all relevant contact points and prompts to participation through social media.
The palette was selected to reflect the Lab's identity and used in a manner that created clear distinctions between events. The sections are colour coded based on the room they were taking place. Coffee and lunch breaks, as well as the sidebar got their own set of colours, in order to encourage attendees to visit permanent installations,
while having their break.
The entire programme was set in Helvetica Neue for the main body and Arvo for meta-information and prompts for participation.
