Blind Spots

Blind Spots is the out come of a project in which we were asked to encapsulate a certain culture on place within Edinburgh in a book. Naturally I chose the historical pubs of Edinburgh and thier culture.
The outcome included:
- A large format hard cover Blurb printed book
- A frosted pint glass with the logo and building icons
- A Blind Spots branded beer mat
- A miniture pull out newspaper
- An MP3 player which played pub ambiance noise to listen to while you read
Unfortunately these were disposed of by a university lecture without my notice after a hand in.

The booked aimed to unearth the secret hidden gems that are some of the pubs of Edinburgh, and show off their beauty and culture.
The front cover conveys this by showing a birds eye view of buildings, with the coloured shapes being the pubs.
