Haiti Poster Project
"Piti, piti, wazo fe nich il" is a Haitian Creole proverb, which means "little by little, the bird builds it's nest". It's a very fitting metaphor in the wake of the devastating Haitian earthquake of 2010. A lack of post-operative care for survivors during relief effort, coupled with a Haitian stigma which disgraces amputees, could have easily created an even more bleak situation if not for the incredible resolution and will to carry-on of the Haitian people.
