This piece is about celebrating black women. Growing up we’re constantly surrounded by images that don’t align with or celebrate our features. Thus, try as we may, we will never achieve the accepted standards of beauty. It was this insight that inspired me to portray positive and beautiful images of women of colour.
This piece is no exception.
